GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
many MOS issues, WP:SEASON, WP:MOSDATE; do not abbreviate, eg "he'd"
"Degradation Trip featured two singles and was well received by critics" - two relatively different statements; split the clause
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Odd date formats, eg "9-17-11.". Please use either "mm.dd.yyyy" or "mm dd, yyy"
Use {{cite web}}, {{cite news}}, etc templates, no bare urls
Allmusic is the work; Rovi Corporation is the publisher
You don't need to write the url in refs. And the publisher is mostly not the url; the url is the work published by a publisher. An exception is Sputnikmusic.com; but the publisher for Canoe is "Canoe Inc" and not "Jam.canoe.ca" (you can see the publisher mostly at the bottom, besider the copyright sign, etc)
Blogs are generally unreliable, but after reading its about page, I am satisfied it is reliable (as being featured in MTV)
obnoxiouslisteners does not seem to be reliable. The authors are non-professional critics
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
not sure about this; do we really need information about touring? I mean, this article is about the album, not his tours.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
In "Critical reception" "overwhelmingly" is imho bias, as it also received 4 stars. "Overwhelmingly" would be five stars given by nearly every or every critic.
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
  • Dabsolver check: Fixed two dabs
  • Checklinks check: One dead link: Unchained Melodies ref
  • Reflinks check: Filled a few
Comments

If I may.

  • In the Infobox for Released this needs a {{start date}} template.
  • Length needs a {{duration}} template.
  • The "charts" section needs to be formatted to comply with Wikipedia's WP:MOS (look at Mariah Carey (album)#Charts and certifications). *Also this sentence "second solo album"? you mean "second solo studio album"? The sentence contradicts what the infobox states.
  • Why is "single" wikilink? (per WP:COMMONWORD).
  • "more easily compares" sounds WP:OR and does ref#12 verifies this?
  • Another WP:OR (and possible violation of WP:NPOV) sentence "overwhelmingly positive reviews" needs to be checked.
  • Why is Boggy Depot overlinked in the article?
  • SOURCE? for Sandy Masuo's review and J.D. Considine's review?
  • All songs written and composed by Jerry Cantrell needs a {{cite album-notes}} template to verify.
  • To the reviewer, what are the links that you are having troubles with? Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 18:23, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but I actually requested a second opinion to make sure there is no copyright violation, or close paraphrasing. But as I do not have any access to mtv.com, I need someone who currently resides in USA and who will check if there is any violation. --♫GoP♫TCN 18:35, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Nevermind.
Well there aren't any copyrighted information, however, this quotation from the author "When Jerry Cantrell says fuck Sevendust, I say fuck you, Jerry Cantrell. I hope you heard me, Jerry Cantrell." has to be written like so "... When Jerry Cantrell says fuck Sevendust, I say fuck you, Jerry Cantrell. I hope you heard me, Jerry Cantrell ..." Otherwise no copyright issues to report. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 15:33, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
